What ES is ?                                  Ljubljana 5-12th July

The European School (ES) is meant especially for people who have started or are planning to be
active in AEGEE:board members, congress organisers and working-group responsibles as well as
people considering joining the CD or a commission.

The European School is the BIG Internal Education event organised by AEGEE-Europe in co-operation with AEGEE Ljubljana. The idea is to have a forum within AEGEE where people can exchange knowledge and experiences about AEGEE, be trained in practical skills and be informed about special projects, and develop future plans.

The ES is not a bunch of boring lectures, but a training course with role plays and simulation
games, though not dangerous for a shy person.

It gives the participants a chance to take a closer look at the European level,to experience working in a multinational team and to practice newly acquired skills. The ES gives you all the background knowledge of AEGEE you always wanted to know but never dared ask about, and also the organisational skills which are needed to set up high-quality events.

Teachers are first of all experienced AEGEE members: those having organised events, or worked on the European level. Also CD members are present to share their experiences, and to give up-to-date information on current affairs.

...but most of all the European School is fun, jus ask anyone!
