Description

I was born and raised in New York City and remain a proud New Yorker even though I've spent more than the past 6 years living in Europe. My interest in international development began when I was 16 years old and spent a summer volunteering in a rural village in Thailand. The experience led me to study International Development at the University of Maryland and later join the Peace Corps in the Republic of Moldova.

During my 2 years in Moldova, my work focused mainly on at-risk youth leadership development and human trafficking prevention. These experiences inspired my passion for working with youth through non-formal education and experiential learning, and empowering them to be community change-makers. I was later awarded a Fulbright research grant in Romania, where I worked with non profit organizations to research innovative new methods of human trafficking prevention for youth and designing a youth leadership training academy. After some time as a training and curriculum development consultant in Bihar, India, and a youth leadership coach in the United States, I have found my home in Galicia, Spain and couldn't be happier to continue working in the world of training!

I am passionate about traveling, meeting new people, learning about different cultures, food, street art, photography and much more. My life goal is to visit every country in the world- but not just step foot in a country, truly experience its culture and traditions. So far, I have travelled to over 55 countries (mostly in Europe) but I have many more to go!
