Why PR European School?

Without any doubt AEGEE has a lot to offer: language courses, conferences on any kind of subject, case study trips, exchange programs, help for Erasmus-students, contacts to young people all around Europe and much more.

The problem is that hardly anyone knows that! It is true that the absolute number of AEGEE members of 17.000 is impressive, but compared to the total number of students in Europe this number amounts only to one percent of all European students. In a city of 30.000 students only 20-30 young Europeans work actively for the interdisciplinary students organization while the latter is not only open to students of all faculties but also to young professionals from 18 to 35! In short AEGEE lacks effective PR.

In order to change this situation the Public Relation Working Group of AEGEE Europe decided to offer AEGEE-members an internal education event which trains the PR responsibles of how to make an effective PR for AEGEE, because (never forget that!) "Good PR changes everything"!
