November 2006

2006-11-30
The first month of the term of the new board passed already! Three of our team members had the pleasure to be altogether in Odessa for the European School 1 while the other two were supporting each other through msn! What is sure is that we are all excited as very soon we will meet in Athens!

Passed Events

CDM
The Concepts Development Meeting finally became reality! 16 participants gathered and they developed the concepts of FRES and ES2. We are happy to announce you that you can find the results on line! Your feed back is more than welcome! Once more, I would like to thank, Parcifal and Burcu, all the participants of the CDM, Martin for the organization and AEGEE-Karlsruhe and AEGEE-Mannheim for their support!
ES1 Odessa
The ES1 Odessa has just finished a few days ago but the outcome can already be judged to be very good. Due to the near perfect local organization of AEGEE Odessa and the teambuilding of the staff before the event, several challenging situations, such as an injury of the manager, a cooperation between on-site and off-site case manager and a mobile backoffice were mastered very well. Talking results the team managed to deliver all results in a timely and efficient way and the fruits of this hard piece of work are about to blossom: 22 more than ever dedicated AEGEE members launching their activities... We would like to thank Martin for all his work and his efforts to make this ES1 so special!

It happened...

-During this first month Wim "stole" the job of Kostas and he dealed with the website several times.
-Maria said more than 10 times to Wim the phrase "I know you are not the IT of academy...but I am desparate!"
-Radu, Kostas, Stacy and Anna were all in ES1 Odessa. What is the secret gossip, we are wondering?(At least they came all back quite happy:))
-Kostas became surprisingly the case manager of the ES1 in Odessa due to sudden cancellation of Marino who faced a big problem with his job.
